Guidelines

Guidelines for the formation of Teams :

  • Students of any institute offering undergraduate course can participate in this event.
  • Each member of the teams must belong to a institute/ college. They can be from different courses available in their institution.
  • Number and Composition of the Team: A team at max has 5 members including one girl and team leader.
  • Each team Is bound to have a Mentor. The mentor can be either a Faculty member of the institute to which the team belongs or can be an individual from Industry. Multiple teams can apply with single mentor. If multiple teams of a mentor get selected, then he/she can only mentor a single. Team. Mentor mentoring on the day of grand finale will be considered as a Mentor. A team can change its mentor before the grand finale.
  • The name of the team, members in the team along with the name of the mentor must be provided by the college in their letterhead, containing the seal of the college/ institute along with the signature of principal/dean/ institute director.
  • Name of the Team Leader must be clearly specified.
  • The Mobile Number and email of each member of a team must be clearly mentioned.
  • Each team must have a unique name and does not contain the name of the institute in any form.
  • Scanned copy of the document must be provided during uploading the proposal.
  • The Name of shortlisted teams will be announced subject to the verification by the appropriate college authority using college letter head through e-mail to [email protected]
  • During Trithon if the details provided by any team found to be incorrect,then the team will be disqualified

submission of Ideas :

  • Idea must be submitted by Team Leader only.
  • Submission must be done in prescribed format, available in website, otherwise the proposal will not be considered for evaluation.
  • Upload the PPT in prescribed format along with the letter from institute (Mentioned above) to complete the process.
  • All the deadlines are final any violation to this will attract rejection.

Selection of Ideas :

  • The attributes that will be taken into consideration for evaluation of the submitted idea are novelty of the idea, complexity, clarity and details in the prescribed format, feasibility, practicability, sustainability, scale of impact, user experience and potential for future work progression.
  • In case of similar idea submissions, those from rural Odisha will be given preference.

Intimation of Shortlisting of Ideas :

  • Upon shortlisting, the team leader will get a SMS alert, and details will be provided in the email sent to the team leader. The list of shortlisted teams will also be displayed in the website.

General information regarding the Grand Finale :

  • It is preferable if the teams put on uniform colored t-shirt with Name of the team in front and Name of the participant in the back.
  • College photo identity card and Aadhar card is mandatory for the participants.

Prizes to be won :

Top 3 Teams will be awarded

  • 1st Prize- Rs 30000/
  • 2nd Prize- Rs 20000/
  • 3rd Prize- Rs 15000/

Miscellaneous Information :

  • Intellectual property (IP) of the idea would belong to the college/institute and the team members jointly. However, team members will make their product available for free for the government institution for which they are working.
  • Selected ideas need to be further developed so that they can be productized before the government institution(s) will be able to utilize it; more efforts beyond the finale are required from the selected teams thereafter.

Every shortlisted students for the final round will get participation certificate
